Colorful Skull – Student Showcase (10/04/2025)
Everyone made such beautiful, colorful works with a Halloween vibe! Each piece was so unique, full of personality and creativity. It was really fun watching everyone explore new techniques and styles. Many were long-time students, so I could see how comfortable they’ve become—trying things beyond my instruction and following their own ideas. That made me so happy to see.

Sunset Palms – Student Showcase (09/20/2025)
Our recent Sunset Palms mixed media workshop was such a joy! Each student created their own beautiful, unique palm tree artwork. I loved seeing how the collaged magazine strips came together on paper, later cut and layered to form the trees. The process has a wonderfully spontaneous feel—unexpected textures and colors suddenly appear, making each piece one-of-a-kind.
For some students, this was a brand-new technique, and I know it can feel a little tricky at first. It’s so natural to wonder, “Is this good enough?” or to have those moments of self-doubt. That’s why I feel grateful to be there, offering support and encouragement. Sometimes a little reassurance is all we need to see the value in what we’ve created.
I’m so proud of how everyone embraced the process and trusted their creativity. Each artwork carried its own voice, and together they made such a vibrant, inspiring collection. 🌴✨
